Pegasus Software has announced that GMI Construction has deployed Opera 3 and Pegasus CIS. The solutions will facilitate increased visibility, support cost control and provide faster, detailed reporting to enable the construction leader to manage large volumes of projects simultaneously. Through allowing access to this level of insight, resources can be deployed more effectively and growth strategies pursued more proactively.
GMI selected Opera 3 and Pegasus CIS through Pegasus’ Partner Genesis Business Systems, in order to track projects more closely and to establish a framework for high level reporting. Through having full integration across the two systems, GMI is able to view all accounts information alongside concurrent projects to get a detailed status on profitability at any one time.
“The nature of our industry is that no two projects are the same, so in order to maintain control over resources and costings, it is crucial that we closely track everything in order to identify anomalies, and use the insight to inform future projects,” comments James Smith, Financial Controller, GMI Construction. “Pegasus CIS is incredibly robust and user friendly, and provides a huge amount of value to us as an organisation. No matter how many projects we ask it to manage it copes seamlessly, and through having access to detailed, up to date information across the board we can act upon red flags and forecast more accurately.”
