BrightBridge Solutions, a Leicestershire based IT solution provider, have been announced as winners of the Small Business of the Year 2017 for Leicestershire by the East Midlands Chamber. The region’s most prestigious business awards took place at Athena, Leicester, on Friday 22nd September 2017.
BrightBridge was formed in 2015 to provide SME organisations with cloud based ERP and business systems to help companies grow their business. BrightBridge has strong partner relationships with both NetSuite and Sage.
The company was one of twelve to win an award on the night, as the Chamber celebrated the strength and successes of businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire.
Ian Robertson, Sales and Marketing Director, BrightBridge Solutions, said: “We are extremely proud to have received the award. We would like to thank the Chamber for recognising what we have achieved thus far at BrightBridge and what we are planning to do moving forward. We would also like to congratulate all the other winners and runners-up. It is heartening to see the calibre and strength of the businesses operating in our region. Lastly we would like to thank Erskine Murray for sponsoring the award.”
Andrew Cox, Technical Director, BrightBridge Solutions, added: “We would like to thank all our customers, partners and employees who have contributed to our ongoing success. The award vindicates what we are doing here at BrightBridge and it is fantastic to be recognised by our peer Leicestershire businesses.”
Chamber President, Geoff Poyzer , said: “The Chamber’s congratulations go to all of this year’s winners. We had some really good entries and the judging process, as it is every year, was extremely tough, but all the winning businesses thoroughly deserve their success.
“The standard of competition was extremely high, which clearly shows that despite the political and economic uncertainties of Brexit and a General Election resulting in a minority Government, we have some real success stories of Leicestershire businesses doing very well. All of the finalists deserve recognition for their success.
“Over the past twelve months, businesses in Leicestershire have been busy keeping calm and carrying on investing, innovating, exporting and growing. These awards are testament to the quality of the businesses we have in this city and county and I applaud each and every one of them.”
