open business solutions visual mwdAsta Development is launching the latest upgrade to Asta Powerproject, a comprehensive project management product suite. Since its launch in 1988, Asta
Powerproject has evolved and improved continuously, driven by regular feedback from users and by making use of the latest technologies available. Asta Powerproject version 13 is a continuation of that evolution.

Asta Powerproject version 13 extends its functionality to streamline tasks within a project more effectively, allowing users to analyse resource and cost more accurately. The new features allow tasks to be linked automatically as they are created or selected, handing more control over a project back to the user, and taking all levels of skill availability into account when checking the availability of permanent resources.

Alongside the programme’s current benefits, some of the other key features
new in this release allow the user to:
– Analyse resource and cost centre usage daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly
– Link tasks automatically as they are created or selected
– Neck summary tasks and hammocks to show the location of subordinate tasks
– Highlight actual and constrained Start and Finish dates in the spreadsheet
– Specify permanent resource availability at skill level
– Specify the type of cost to which cost related fields refer.
