Access Group brings latest cloud solutions to G-Cloud 6 framework

Infor takes bus on the moveThe UK-based enterprise solutions provider, Access Group, has seen five of its SaaS solutions accepted as part of the G-Cloud 6 framework agreement, which was set up to aid the procurement of cloud services and solutions for UK Government. Access Insight, TeamSeer, Expense Management, PeoplePlanner and CareBlox are now available with more cloud-based solutions being put forward in future.

The solutions form part of Access’ aCloud SaaS platform, which includes a broad suite of integrated cloud-based business applications providing secure and easy access to information from any device. The cost-effectiveness of these solutions will enable government bodies to not only operate more efficiently but also save money.

Josh Gilbertson, head of aCloud for Access Group commented: “Our cloud based solutions enable organisations to be more agile and gain faster return on investment. Access Insight business intelligence is particularly beneficial to all government clients. It’s the glue that binds the organisation together feeding in information from disparate sources and then providing an easy-to-use visual dashboard where they can drill down into the detail or review trending information. It helps organisations make intelligent analysis of their data. It makes it meaningful.

“It’s through the better use of data that our government clients can help improve citizen and customer experience because they’re able to understand how to provide more effective and efficient service provision. It’s about helping government be more responsive providing the technologies employed by some of the fastest growing businesses in the UK. Having a better return on investment, being able to report and analyse big data sources such as GIS databases, and meet compliance regulation by being able to manage data in real time – this all matters a great deal.

“We believe that with the right technology government clients can operate more competitively – but they can only do this by utilising the resources and assets they have at their disposal more effectively. The problem is they can’t manage what they can’t measure. Access Insight by its very nature helps them to get a definitive view of their performance.”

Absence management is also another area of concern for government clients. With TeamSeer, organisations will be able to easily record and manage absence online, identifying problems early on as well as managing holidays. “With no need to install hardware or put staff through training, it offers a simple yet powerful way to report on holidays, absence and sickness and includes Bradford Factor methodology. It’s everything organisations need out of the box, and along with expense management it helps provides a cost effective way to put the technologies in place to monitor and manage these two very important areas.”

Access, which adheres to robust security and data protection compliance, is ISO 27001 accredited and its hosting is based in the UK. It has a dedicated development team which is devoted to maintaining and developing new cloud solutions. Josh concluded: “We’ve invested heavily in our aCloud solutions, which we also use in house. We’re delighted to have been accepted onto the framework so government clients can experience the same benefits from our cloud platform as our commercial and not-for-profit clients. We look forward to offering our other cloud solutions in due course.”
